What Does Hug or Shrug Mean?
Learn the five reaction choices and start with an honest opinion, without needing an account.

Hug: I like this
Use Hug for a subject you enjoy, value or would choose again. You do not need an elaborate reason. Check the listing title first: liking a general category does not necessarily mean liking every product within it.
Shrug: not for me
Use Shrug when the subject is not to your taste. It is a preference, not a claim that everyone should dislike it. If you add a public note later, explain your experience without attacking people who disagree.
Want to Try, Never Tried and Don't Know
Want to Try means you are curious enough to try the subject. Never Tried means you lack first-hand experience. Don't Know means you do not know enough about the subject to react. None of these is a substitute for a dislike, and the app keeps familiarity separate from the Hug-versus-Shrug split.
What happens after a reaction?
The game records your choice and shows the available community feedback. Small samples are displayed as counts. Opinion percentages need at least ten Hug or Shrug reactions, and their denominator excludes curiosity and unfamiliarity choices. The next card lets you continue building a collection.
You can start as a guest. Your choices stay on this browser and do not change public community counts. Save them to an account when keeping a taste profile becomes useful to you. The twenty-item challenge is another way to make a small, finite collection and invite a friend to compare.
